Carlos van Tongeren

Flamenco guitarist, composer, researcher, and lecturer

I am Carlos van Tongeren—a flamenco guitarist, composer, researcher, and professor of literature. My work is dedicated to exploring flamenco through performance, artistic creation, and academic research. I have combined my musical training with university studies in Spanish literature and culture, and I am currently a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the University of Granada. I perform at international concerts and festivals and offer lectures that connect flamenco tradition with new cultural and pedagogical perspectives.
